My Story
It's Mother's Day 2008. I received a unique item known as a Scentsy warmer from my daughter Bonnie who lives in Florida. I was not familiar with the name or the company but I plugged it in, put in a cube of Toasted Coconut , and was immediately transported to a "tropical paradise" ! I called Bonnie to thank her and she told me about going to a Scentsy party and falling in love with the product! She said "Mom, I think I'm going to become a consultant! Will you have a party for me this summer when we come to Richmond?" I told her I would and that July I held a home show and got $600 in orders!! I was hooked! I became a consultant a few months later and have loved introducing this safe and clean alternative to regular candles to anyone who would listen! Over the last 5 years I have seen that $99 investment grow into a regular part-time job for me that has paid for plane tickets to see my grandkids and paid for all my Christmas expenses, plus given me mad money to eat out, take vacations, etc. I was fortunate to have earned the Scentsy Incentive Trip to the Bahamas in 2014 and the friends I have made along the way have enriched my life so much! I always enjoy meeting up with them at Scentsy Spring Sprint and Family Reunion each summer! So now my daughter and I both enjoy working for a company whose motto is "give more than you take"!
